I Love Candy Corns!

I stole this cover from Sybil’s site. It’s very hot, no? I like how subtle it is. The woman has her head flung back just right. Like she’s feeling very passionate, but not not… you know, exaggerating her reaction to the guy or anything. I mean, he’s hot, but you know, he’s not that hot. I think he kind of looks like Enrique Iglesias. And this girl kind of looks like… Andie McPhee. Eww… she totally does. I can’t believe little Andie McPhee became a vampire. Well, her brother Jack is gay and she had to get the attention back to her somehow, so why not become a vampire? Anyway, what’s that on Andie’s shoulder? Is that an ugly blouse pattern or some sort of elaborate tattoo? Well, no matter how hot these people on the cover are, it just doesn’t do anything for me. It just reminds me too much of candy corn. Mmm… candy corn. Can candy corn be melted? ‘Cause maybe I can melt some and pour it all over BJ’s bare chest and lick… uh… where was I? Um… yeah. Candy corn doesn’t say bad ass vampire to me. It says halloween. And I bet Butch wouldn’t like being compared to Halloween. Of course he’s not a bad ass vampire. He’s just some guy. WHY IS J.R. WARD WRITING A BOOK ABOUT HIM AGAIN? I’m a little sick of vampire books, but I’ll definitely read this one. I like J.R. Ward’s writing style and think it’s awesome that her vampires listen to Jay-Z instead of Nazareth. Like who the fuck listens to Nazareth? And I like Andie McPhee’s fangs. They’re so little… like you won’t think they’re fangs until you take a closer look.

    Though it’s pretty I almost hate that you posted this cover as I’m currently battling a serious candy corn addiction.

    Oh, sorry. I always assume people know what I’m talking about. I’m obnoxious like that. BJ is Brandon James Routh a.k.a the New Superman. BJ also apparently stands for blow… yeah, you know. Oddly enough, it also stands for Baby Jesus. Eww.

    I thought I was the only one in blogland that thought this cover was just meh. On my blog I actually said it looked like a pumpkin that exploded. LOL. But I’m still anxious to read this book. I like the BDB series and I, too, like that the vamps listen to hip hop. Way cool if you ask me. ;)

    Sybil…I was wondering about that myself..the tatoo on the shoulder and no one else having tats like that in the series…????

    That is one orange cover! Do you think they ate too many carrots?

    And Bam, I didn’t notice the teeny tiny smooshy cute wittle fang until I took a closer look. Since I’ve sworn off of orange vampires for the time being, this will not make it to my TBR.

    Candy corn…yum. Brach’s candy corn is the best. I can eat two bags at a time. And if you shove ‘em over your canines, they make pretty fangs…

    The tattoo looks like a some kind of texture they layered on the picture rather then a tattoo on her arm. I do like the subtle fangs, they look no different then people in real life whose canine teeth are a little sharper then usual. But yeah, can’t blame you for being sick of paranormal books, before they were hard to find on the market, now that’s all I see in some ways.

    HEh… Butch’s cover is peach. Im still giggling about that. but im awaitng this book like noones business… still i love JR’s covers.. the less cookie cutter cover models i see on them the better.

    Nice cover. Having read the 1st 2 books of the series, I’m really looking forward to this one. Based on the previews in Book 2, this looks like it could be the best one to date.

    Oops, my bad. I just realized this is Book 4, not the next in the series. Eh, I’m not to keen on the Butch character but I’ll probably buy the damn thing anyway.

    Umm… I listen to Nazareth. I also listen to Jay-Z so maybe that redeems me a little bit.
