I'm not tired of paranormals, they've just never been my favorite. I'm a big fan of Lara Adrien, though. I just saw the cover for her next book and felt a little thrill.

Now, romantic suspense with paranormal elements is different. I love it. In fact, I write it! :) The Missing sounds great.

I have been a fan of paranormals for years. It used to be so difficult to find releases (except for in October). I am loving the plethora of selections these days. While I used to read any paranormal I came across, I have started to become a bit more picky. When there are more books to choose from you have the ability to be selective. It is a nice "problem" to have, trying to decide which paranormal to read next.

Hey everybody... thanks for dropping by. So total burnout isn't here...selectivity is, that's kind of where I'm at, too.

I'm out of town for the next couple of days, but when I get back, I'll draw a winner and Bam will post the details. :)

I got sucked into paranormal romance about two years ago and am completely hooked. But I've been reading genre romance in all its glory for about 30 years now (OMG, I'm old) and whatever trends come and go, I'll always be up for a great story about two people falling in love, whether they're vampires, werewolves, Fey, witches, psychics, duchesses or just plain boring old humans.

I don't think I'll get burned out on paranormals because I continue to read regency & contemporary, but if the fad fades, the ratio of paranormal to muggle romance might shift a bit.

Hi, Shi! I'm such a slow adopter, I'm just getting into paranormals now. I'm not reading them exclusively, but I don't think I read any genre exclusively--I like hopping around otherwise I think I tire of that kind of book.

And very lovely shelves those are--yay for you!

I'm like the others too. I am now getting selective about the paranormal I read. Ive only been into them a few years and there are still a few series I feel obligated to read but sometimes I just dont have it in me to start a whole new world. At the same time I am still a majority paranormal girl who switches when I need a break. I am however getting worried because even some of the ones on my buy anything with their name on it faves are seeming to burn out on the genre and/or publishing some things that leave me disappointed. I pray there isnt a paranormal crash...I couldnt take it right now!

Congratulations on your release, Shiloh!

I am definitely still loving paranormals. It was my grandmother who actually got me hooked on them by sharing her copy of Gena Showalter's The Darkest Night. I absolutely love Gena's Lords series and am anxiously awaiting the next one. But, it's not just her stories that I read now. I'm all over the board on paranormals and am always looking for another author to add to my list of those to be read.

I still enjoy paramormals or dark fantasy as we used to call it. I have found myself, lately, going for lighter less involved books. Why? Time of year? The snow is flying? I don't know. Well, I do know - sometimes something light, easy and open is refreshing from all the deep and dark. Ya know?

By the by - the TBR in my house is not a pile either - it would be cases in my case, not just one case. You are the next book on the pile or in the case (yes, you were moved to the top. Sometimes it just has to be done). Hope the numbers turn out really well!!

Peace.

I still love paranormals. I'm just having a little difficulty finding new authors right now, especially since I'm sort of caught up on all the series I normally read (Kenyon, Hamilton, Harris, etc). I'm thinking I'll try Singh's sensation series next. I've always been interested in it, just kept having to push it back.

Good luck with the release :)!

I'm still very much into the paranormals - although I do go through sputs where I don't feel like a vampire, or maybe this time I don't feel like a werewolf - but later I always come back to them. So I still stockpile all the different stuff possible.
